Steve Hanley is a former professional rugby player who made 191 appearances and scored 104 tries for the Sale Sharks. On retirement Steve had scored a total of 75 Premiership tries, which at the time was a record. In 2004, Steve was the Sale Sharks Player of the Season and just two years later he helped the Sharks to their first Premiership title.
