3.4 Please note that we may process your personal data without your knowledge or consent, in compliance with the above rules, where this is required or permitted by law.
3.5 We may share your personal data with the parties set out below for the purposes set out in the table above:
3.5.1 Service providers who provide IT and system administration services, ID verification services, payment or other necessary services.
3.5.2 Third parties to whom we may choose to sell, transfer or merge parts of our business or our assets. Alternatively, we may seek to acquire other businesses or merge with them. If a change happens to our business, then the new owners may use your personal data in the same way as set out in this Policy.
3.5.3 Professional advisers or courts or government agencies where it is necessary to secure or enforce our legal rights.
3.5.4 Third parties when you request that we share your information with them.
3.6 We require all third parties to respect the security of your personal data and to treat it in accordance with applicable law and via data processing agreements. We do not allow our third-party service providers to use your personal data for their own purposes and only permit them to process your personal data for specified purposes and in accordance with our instructions.
4 What are your data protection rights?
4.1 LassWho? would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Each user is entitled to the following:
4.1.1 The right to access – You have the right to request LassWho? for copies of your personal data.
4.1.2 The right to rectification – You have the right to request that LassWho? correct any information held in respect of you which you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request LassWho? to complete the information you believe is incomplete.
4.1.3 The right to erasure – You have the right to request that LassWho? erase your personal data, under certain conditions.
4.1.4 The right to restrict processing – You have the right to request that LassWho? restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
4.1.5 The right to object to processing – You have the right to object to LassWho?’s processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
4.1.6 The right to data portability – You have the right to request that LassWho? transfer the data that we have collected to another organisation, or directly to you, under certain conditions.
4.1.7 The right to withdraw consent – You may withdraw your consent at any time to LassWho? processing your data. Please note that the withdrawal of your consent does not affect the lawfulness of any processing activities based on such consent before its withdrawal.
4.2 You will not have to pay a fee to access your personal data (or to exercise any of the other rights). However, we may charge a reasonable fee if your request is clearly unfounded, repetitive or excessive. Alternatively, we could refuse to comply with your request in these circumstances. We may need to request specific information from you to help us confirm your identity and ensure your right to access your personal data (or to exercise any of your other rights). This is a security measure to ensure that personal data is not disclosed to any person who has no right to receive it. We may also contact you to ask you for further information in relation to your request to speed up our response. We try to respond to all legitimate requests within one month. Occasionally it could take us longer than a month for example if your request is particularly complex or you have made a number of requests. In this case, we will notify you and keep you updated.

5 How do we store your data and for how long?
5.1 Your data is stored securely in encrypted format in a securely hosted database owned by LassWho?. We have put in place procedures to deal with any suspected personal data breach and will notify you and any applicable regulator of a breach where we are legally required to do so.
5.2 We will only retain your personal data for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, regulatory, tax, accounting or reporting requirements. We may retain your personal data for a longer period in the event of a complaint or if we reasonably believe there is a prospect of litigation in respect to our relationship with you.
5.3 To determine the appropriate retention period for personal data, we consider the amount, nature and sensitivity of the personal data, the potential risk of harm from unauthorised use or disclosure of your personal data, the purposes for which we process your personal data and whether we can achieve those purposes through other means, and the applicable legal, regulatory, tax, accounting or other requirements.
5.4 Our Platform is intended for a general audience and not for use by anyone younger than the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children younger than the age of 18 without the consent of a parent or legal guardian; if we learn that we have done so, we will promptly remove the information from our active databases. If you are a parent or legal guardian who believes that we have collected or used their child’s personal information, please contact us. 6 Billing
6.1 For billing purposes, we require our Users to provide their full name and billing address. Payments by and to LassWho? are made through third party payment providers selected by LassWho?. You should review the payment provider’s privacy policy before providing your personal information, as it is responsible for personal information in its own right, and its privacy practices may vary from ours.

7.1 LassWho? would like to send you information about using the Platform that we think you might like and that will help you use LassWho?’s Services.
7.2 Other than rating and review content we will not provide information to any third party for commercial or marketing purposes.

8 What are cookies?
8.1 Cookies are text files placed on your computer to collect standard Internet log information and visitor behaviour information. 12.1 LassWho? keeps its Policy under regular review and places any updates on this web page. This Policy was last updated on 12 March 2021. The new policy may be displayed on-screen and you may be required to read and accept the changes to continue your use of the Platform or the Services.
12.2 It is important that the personal data we hold about you is accurate and current. Please keep us informed if your personal data changes during our relationship with you.
13 Data Protection Laws
The data privacy policy of LassWho? is based on the provisions of the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2018 (“DPJL”). We voluntarily extend the individual’s rights granted under DPJL to apply to all of our Users, worldwide.
14 Miscellaneous
14.1 Whenever you voluntarily post information to the public profile you show on LassWho?, or the public comment areas on the Platform or any other public forums, the information you post can be accessed by the public. We are not responsible for any information that is disclosed publicly through LassWho?.
14.2 We have the right, but no obligation, to monitor the content you post on LassWho?. We reserve the right to remove any such information or material for any reason or no reason, including without limitation if, in our sole opinion, such information or material violates, or may violate, any applicable law or our Terms and Conditions, or to protect or defend our rights or property or those of any third party. We also reserve the right to remove information upon the request of any third party.
14.3 Users subscribing to our services receive service-essential messages at the e-mail address they have provided to us. These messages are strictly limited to communication necessary to use our services. For example, we send new users an automated message with their username and password and send an automated message confirming Users’ purchases, etc.
14.4 To stop receiving promotional communications from LassWho?, click on the “unsubscribe” link in the footer of the promotional email. We may send you email communications relating to your account or use of the Platform even if you have unsubscribed.
