Sam Northeast

BIO

Sam Northeast was born in Kent, England and has represented Hampshire, Kent, Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire and Glamorgan. In 2018, after scoring 1,755 runs for Kent across all formats, Sam was rewarded with an England Lions tour to West Indies and subsequently made his debut against West Indies A. In the County Championship match against Leicestershire in July 2022, Sam scored his maiden double century in first-class cricket, then turned it into his maiden triple century. Sam finished on 410 not out to become the first batsman to score 400 runs in a first-class innings in the UK since Brian Lara made 501 not out for the Warwickshire CCC vs Durham CCC.
