Pen Hadow is a renowned British Artic and Ocean Explorer known for pushing the boundaries of human endeavour in polar exploration and advocating for sustainability. Pen gained iconic recognition for his solo trek from Canada to the North Pole, a feat never repeated by any other human being. As a leader in non-governmental scientific exploration on the Arctic Ocean, he is deeply committed to protecting the regions wildlife and floating ice-reef ecosystem. His ongoing mission involves raising awareness about the urgent need for research and conservation measures to safeguard the unique wildlife and habitats of the Arctic in the face of rapidly disappearing sea ice. His work extends through his leadership of Arctic Mission, an expedition program in collaboration with the 90North Unit, and the establishment of the 90North Foundation, dedicated to protecting the Arctic Oceans international waters and catalyzing conservation policy-making.
