Natasha Short is an Australian Aboriginal woman who has over 25 years of experience working in Aboriginal and Community Development work, mainly in the Kimberley Region. As a descendant of the Jaru people in the East Kimberley, Natasha is passionate about Social Justice and Aboriginal Affairs. She is an advocate for disadvantaged groups and believes in investing in the local community to effect positive change. Natasha has held various senior and leadership positions, building a reputation for delivering high-quality outcomes while working collaboratively with stakeholders with integrity and professionalism. Her strong relationships and networks span the entire Kimberley region, and she understands the local challenges but remains proactive about addressing these issues, in innovative ways, leveraging her partnerships to influence positive social changes. This important work includes amplifying womens voices, promoting Culture and enabling more Aboriginal led businesses.
