Michaela Davis-Meehan

BIO

Michaela Davis-Meehan is one of the leading snowboarders in Australia, previously competing in slopestyle, and more recently, big mountain freeride competitions. Michaela is the second ever Australian snowboarder to qualify for the Freeride World Tour and the first Australian to win a gold medal on the tour in any category. Currently ranked 6th in the world Michaela will be competing and leading Freeride camps in New Zealand and Europe in the year ahead. As well as competing, Michaela makes adventure films that show the beauty of the mountains and explore other cultures. She also has another major film project coming up with The North Face. In 2017 Michaela was one of three riders featured in Persian Powder, a snowboard and cultural film set in Iran. That film has been touring Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the USA and was voted the best film on the Women’s Adventure Film Tour.
