Mark Coles

BIO

Mark Coles is a professional cricket coach with over 20 years of experience at the highest level. Before becoming a coach in 2000, Mark was a professional cricketer who played for Wellington in New Zealand before a back injury ended his career. At the start of his coaching career Mark led the Wellington Blaze to victory in the 2013 New Zealand T20 competition. In 2017, Mark was appointed as the head coach of the Pakistan womens team and led them to a 5th place finish in the ICC Championships meaning they would qualify for the Cricket World Cup Qualifiers. Most recently Mark was head coach of the Scottish National Womens team, leading them to World Cup Qualification in his first season as coach in 2021.
