Jie Pittman is an Australian Indigenous Cultural Exchange Expert and proud Gadigal Whale man with a rich ancestry that spans across multiple nations, including Wiradjuri, Ngemba, Darug-Eora, Murramurang/Budawang Dhurga-Yuin, and Kooma. Jie, who was born and raised in Blacktown, has a deep passion for his homeland and is dedicated to reconnecting with his family's ancient and current connections to the inner suburbs of Sydney. Jie believes it is his responsibility is to bring the cultural diversity of people of Australia closer together. Jie is committed to sharing stories while learning about the nations he and his family directly come from, starting with the salt and fresh waters of Sydney. Jie starred with Zac Efron in Down to Earth which is a show that journeys around the world with wellness expert Darin Olien in a travel show that explores culture, health and sustainability.
