Jason Dodd

BIO

Jason Dodd is a former professional footballer from England who made over 400 career league appearances. Jason spent the majority of his 16-year career with Southampton, a trusted right-back and captain who served the club with remarkable consistency over a 15 year period, racking up a grand total of 483 games to place him sixth on the all-time appearance list. Also he has the most Premier League appearance's with James Ward Prowse catching him up. Upon retiring from playing, Jason moved into coaching and joined Eastleigh as Head Coach before taking over the vacant position as manager in December 2006. Jason stayed in the role for several months before joining George Burley as first team coach at Southampton in the summer of 2007 where he spent time as joint caretaker manager. After a brief spell as caretaker manager of Aldershot Town in 2009, Jason returned to his former club Southampton in the role of Head Coach of the U18 team. He has helped many players begin their journey.
