BIO

Harley Windsor is an Indigenous Australian Figure Skater, Olympian and World Champion. Harley is the first Indigenous Australian to compete in the Winter Olympics, representing Australia in Pyeongchang in 2018. Harley began skating at the age of eight, after watching the Disney movie Ice Princess. He was initially self-taught but later trained under Russian coach Galina Pachin. His talent quickly became apparent, and he began competing at a national level in Australia. In 2015, he partnered with Russian skater Ekaterina Alexandrovskaya, and the two began competing internationally as a pair. They quickly rose through the ranks, winning the Junior Grand Prix Final in 2016 and becoming the first Australian pair to win an International Skating Union (ISU) Championship event. Harleys achievements have inspired a new generation of Indigenous Australians to take up figure skating, and he is proud to be a role model for young people.
