Hacia embodies resilience, courage, and visionary leadership, driving transformative initiatives centred on Gender Respect, Equality and Psychological wellbeing. As Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Empowered Women in Trades (EWIT), she champions a mission to revolutionise male-dominated industries in Australia. With a steadfast commitment to Gender Respect Equality, Hacia advocates for increasing female representation in skilled trades from a mere 3% to an ambitious 30% by 2030. Her passion extends beyond increasing female representation; Hacia is dedicated to empowering organisations to cultivate cultures of inclusivity and psychological wellbeing. She envisions workplaces where all individuals, regardless of gender identity, have equal access to opportunities, resources, and rights. Through her work, Hacia strives to dismantle barriers and create environments that foster growth, respect, and equity for all.
