Elsa Desmond is a Luger competing for Ireland. She has always loved sport and whilst studying medicine at Kings College London, she accepted an opportunity to Luge and was soon competing for Team GB. Elsa wanted to represent Ireland, though they did not have a Luge federation, so Elsa created one herself whilst training to be a doctor.
