Ellie Aldridge is a prominent female formula kite athlete with an impressive track record. She has secured four World Cup medals, including a recent silver at the 2021 World Championships. As the reigning British champion, Ellie has retained her titles in 2019 and 2020. Her sailing journey began at Parkstone Yacht Club at the age of seven, and her passion for the sport has only grown since then. Ellie is a versatile athlete, excelling in skiffs, dinghies, multihulls, and kiteboards. Representing the British Sailing team, Ellie aims to qualify and compete in the new Olympic sport at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
