Declan James is an English Professional Squash player hailing from Nottingham, representing England. For over 12 years, Declan has been a prominent figure on the professional squash tour, making his mark at the young age of 18 when he turned professional. With more than 40 England caps to his name, Declan was an integral part of the England team that secured Gold at the 2019 European Team Championships and Silver at the 2019 World Team Championships. In the same year, he achieved a career-high world ranking of 15, earning the title of England Number 1. His outstanding performances have earned him an impressive 13 world tour titles. Notably, at the 2018 Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast, Declan proudly represented England and won a Bronze medal in doubles alongside partner James Willstrop. The duo further solidified their success with a Gold medal at the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, a momentous achievement in his career.
