Darren Maddy was born in Leicester, England and represented England, Leicestershire, Warwickshire and also the Kolkata Tigers in India. In 2006, Leicestershire won the T20 title and Darren received the Man of the Match award for his 86 from 61 balls and in the process he became the first player in the world to score 1,000 T20 runs.
