Cliff Thorburn is a legendary Canadian Snooker player who started his professional playing career in 1977. Cliff went on to win the World Snooker Championships in 1980, becoming the first Snooker World Champion of the modern era to hail from outside the United Kingdom. He also became the first ever player to score a maximum break at the World Snooker Championships 1983. Cliff won an incredible 20 titles during his illustrious career.
