Chris Sutton is an English former professional football player who represented England and famously won the English Premier League with Blackburn Rovers in 1995. Chris now works as a commentator for various broadcasters including BT Sport and BBC Radio 5 Live. Chris played as a forward for clubs in England including Norwich City, Blackburn Rovers, Chelsea, Birmingham City and Aston Villa. Chris also played 130 matches for Celtic in Scottish Premiership. Chris scored over 150 career goals in over 400 league appearances spanning 16 years in the English and Scottish Premier Leagues. Chris became the most expensive player in English football in 1994, when he was transferred from Norwich City to Blackburn Rovers for £5 million. Chris developed a strong partnership with Alan Shearer - known as SAS - as they helped secure the first league title for Blackburn since 1914.
