Brendan Cannon is a former Australian Rugby Union professional who played for the Wallabies and Super Rugby for the Queensland Reds. NSW Waratahs and Western Force. Brendan was capped 42 times for Australia after making his debut in 2001 against the touring British and Irish Lions team. Brendan also played over 100 Super Rugby games and was the 12th player in the competition's history to achieve that milestone. Brendan retired in 2007 due to a serious neck injury sustained in a match in New Zealand. Since retiring, Brendan has undertaken charity work with White Ribbon which is a charity that campaigns for stopping violence against women. Brendan has also commentated for Fox Sports in Australia
