Anna Harrison is a former New Zealand netball and beach volleyball player. Anna was a vital part of the Silver Ferns success throughout her career playing as goal-keep, goal-defence or wing-defence. Throughout her impressive career, Anna made appearances at three Commonwealth Games for New Zealand winning gold medals in 2006 in Melbourne and later in Delhi in 2010 and silver in Glasgow 2014. Anna made a total of 88 appearances for her country including appearances at the World Netball Championships; 2003 Gold & 2011 silver. Anna returned to elite netball after having each of her 3 children. She announced her retirement in 2018 only to return again in 2021! She has just hung up the bib again at the end of the 2022 season and will be remembered as a formidable opponent across all three defensive positions. A menacing presence, while adding variety at the defensive end. Anna refined her craft over the years and was the ultimate competitor and proven match winner.
