BIO
Andrew Karkouer is a talented footballer who caught the attention of the AFL scouts and was drafted with the 41st pick in the 2000 AFL draft by the Richmond Football Club. In round 7 of the 2001 season, he made his AFL debut for Richmond, playing against Essendon at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground. Known for his exceptional evasive skills and agility on the field, the small crumbing forward became a valuable player for the Richmond Football Club. He finished 2nd in Richmonds goal kicking in 2003, 3rd in 2004 and 4th in 2005 and 2006. In 2004, he laid an impressive 95 tackles, the highest at Richmond and the 9th highest overall in the AFL for that season. The proud Minang and Inggarda man was born in Melbourne in 1983.
